Role Description:
As the Web Developer (Wix) at Stratatek, you will be responsible for the development and management of our website using the Wix platform. You will focus on enhancing our digital presence through innovative web design, optimizing SEO, enhancing Google search engine visibility, and ensuring the website’s performance and usability. Your role is crucial in maintaining an engaging and responsive online platform that reflects our brand and meets the needs of our audience.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Web Development: Build and maintain our company website using Wix, ensuring high standards of web design, functionality, and content accuracy.
- Website Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess website performance, making adjustments to improve speed, usability, and conversion rates.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and drive traffic.
- Paid Ads: Monitor campaign performance, analyzing metrics to drive improvements and increase user engagement and conversion rates.
- Content Management: Update and manage web content, ensuring all website material is current and relevant.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance on web-related issues to internal stakeholders.
- Marketing Support: Craft and execute digital marketing strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five+ years of experience in technical development.
- Working experience in Wix, SEO, Google Ads, and web analytics tools.
- Experience in graphic design and video editing is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and very detail oriented.
- Strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift at least 15 lbs and a valid driver’s license for occasional sales support tasks.
